This is a really welcoming proper pub. We had some great food, and both the beer and the wine were excellent. We went on ‘Steak Night’ (Thursdays) but the full menu was still available.

On holiday in the area and booked for Sunday lunch. Fantastic food and good service. Food was tasty and fresh and the biggest slice of gateaux we’d ever seen for dessert! Cosy little pub, wood burner was a nice touch on a rainy day. Would highly recommend.
