Journey home from Bristol Airport, we needed a break. This was an accidental find, and we were amazed how good it was. Service was exceptional, we were fitted in, and told we had to order pretty much straight away, no issues there. 2 steaks, ‘blue’ were ordered. The real Ale was great, and there was a superb low-alcohol beer too. Food was quick and fantastic. Shame its over 100 miles from home, but well worth a visit, if you are going past Junction 28 of the M5.

On holiday in the area and booked for Sunday lunch. Fantastic food and good service. Food was tasty and fresh and the biggest slice of gateaux we’d ever seen for dessert! Cosy little pub, wood burner was a nice touch on a rainy day. Would highly recommend.
