Dome dining

Had a family meal for 7 in one of the domes. Great protection from the rain!! Lovely food all round great choices available and something for everyone. Spoilt for choice with desserts but unfortunately all full from the generous portions after starter and main. Definitely reccommend.

Cracking Pub

Had dinner at the Merry Harriers with three fellow hungry walkers. We were not disappointed. The beer was good, the service, even on a busy September evening in a heat wave, was excellent. And the food was delicious and well presented. In fact possibly one of the best pub-meals I’ve ever had. I’m not going to say what I ordered in case there’s a run on it and it’s not available when I return, which I shall.
