Lovely village local with fabulous food

Five of us went Thursday and were delighted to find out they did a steak night, it was so good we returned on Saturday, where Despite being full to bursting John managed to squeeze us in and we had another delightful meal. Lovely food and fabulous service.

Cracking Pub

Had dinner at the Merry Harriers with three fellow hungry walkers. We were not disappointed. The beer was good, the service, even on a busy September evening in a heat wave, was excellent. And the food was delicious and well presented. In fact possibly one of the best pub-meals I’ve ever had. I’m not going to say what I ordered in case there’s a run on it and it’s not available when I return, which I shall.
