3rd visit in 3 weeks. This is a quintessential English country pub. It never fails to deliver. Good quality food, well presented and plenty of it. Friendly, well-trained staff. There is nothing pretentious about this place. Everyone receives a warm welcome.

On holiday in the area and booked for Sunday lunch. Fantastic food and good service. Food was tasty and fresh and the biggest slice of gateaux we’d ever seen for dessert! Cosy little pub, wood burner was a nice touch on a rainy day. Would highly recommend.
