We are staying at a fabulous nearby campsite. I booked the table two hours ago as I could see the place is busy. When we arrived the man behind the bar greeted me by my first name. We had Fajitas, the seafood platter and french fries. Every dish was fresh and beautifully prepared. The waiting staff asked if we needed water for our dogs and when we said yes they brought two bowls with ice cubes in them as it was a hot evening. People say we aren’t very good at customer service in the UK. They clearly haven’t been here. What a treat. Most highly recommended. The local cider is a must have too. Top notch.

On holiday in the area and booked for Sunday lunch. Fantastic food and good service. Food was tasty and fresh and the biggest slice of gateaux we’d ever seen for dessert! Cosy little pub, wood burner was a nice touch on a rainy day. Would highly recommend.
